Wow. I had no idea oven cleaner did that. It looks fantastic!
What a cute idea! Going to have to keep this in mind!
Whoa!I didn't realize that oven cleaner will do that!I think I see some projects in the future.
Thanks guys! There is a fair bit of elbow grease envolved too! My arms were killing the next day!
that is really cute! love the black and white and the damask!
Wow! is that mirror ever FANTASTIC!! Finally, something to use my oven cleaner for : )I will definitely be trying this out - thanks!!
Saw a blog where someone did this with fabric (they even mod podged their frame with it!), but I like the paper idea MUCH better - same good look with out the extra muss & fuss! Yours is very similar to one I had in mind - I'm leaning toward vintage blues...Great job!♥hugs♥
That's so pretty! I love the way you scrubbed it.
Thanks Rachel! My arms did not love it. I am sooooo weak, a 12 year old GIRL beat me at arm wrestling!
wow, that's gorgeous! Did you really just get a normal mirror and then scrub it with oven cleaner? For serious?? Did you spray the front or back or does it even matter? Because I am going to HAVE to do this now. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on my stained glass jars! When you do it, you'll have to let me know (or post here) because I'd love to see it!
What a creative idea. It looks great!
Does that frame ever look good in black.-Zane of ontario honey
